Sean has worked as a band instrument repair technician in Chicago, Baltimore / Washington D.C., Minnesota, Illinois and California while also teaching privately and as a middle school band director.
His primary teachers were Vernon Read and William Trimble at San Jose State University, Wendell Hanna of San Francisco State University (formerly at University of Oregon), Timothy McGovern of the Montreal Symphony, Burl Lane of the Chicago Symphony and Roger Soren of the Louisville Orchestra.
In his free time, Sean is a proud Oregon alumnus who loyally supports the Duck teams and who cries over the loveable Chicago Cubs.
